The class will teach participants:
- How to build and manage a hot compost pile
- Which materials can safely be composted
- How to make and apply compost extract
- How compost improves soil, plants, and livestock
- How healthy compost reduces reliance on fertilizer, pesticides, and weeding
- The basics of the soil ecosystem
