Plasma Cutting Workshop

Learn the basics of safely and confidently cutting metal during this beginner-friendly, hands-on plasma cutting workshop.

Instructor David Sullins will introduce participants to the plasma cutter, cutting torch, air supply, work clamp, consumable parts, and other essential equipment. Participants will learn how to prepare the workspace and metal, choose appropriate machine settings, position the torch, and make controlled straight and curved cuts.

The class will also cover essential protective equipment, ventilation, fire prevention, and safe material handling. After the demonstration, participants will receive guided cutting practice and work on a simple beginner project.
